Q: How much does this weight loss program cost? What's the catch?
A: This program was designed and implemented from 2023 through 2026 as a passion project by our medical clinician. There's no catch -- just free access to a program designed to help you get results long-term.
Q: Is there an option to work 1:1 with our medical clinician?
A: Our medical clinician has stepped away from private practice to raise her son (anticipated return to practice is in 2029).
Q: What is the Lifestyle Medicine Eats App?
A: This is an App that you can download on your smartphone to track progress and see how your diet stacks up against an 'ideal' plant based dietary pattern (or animal-based if you so choose) optimized to address hunger/appetite. There is a small cost to using this App (around $5/month) to support the cost of keeping it running.
Q: Who can access and use this program?
A: Anyone, but you are advised to speak to your Primary Care Provider about any and all changes that you plan to make to ensure that they are right for your health. Any dietary challenges that you choose to engage in are at your own risk.
Q: Who is this program not appropriate for?
A: This program is not appropriate for anyone with a history of eating disorder, minors (under the age of 18 years), people living with end stage kidney disease, pregnant persons, or persons living with insulin-dependent diabetes.
