Article: Master Plant Based Cooking in Maine

While knowing what to do is important, actually putting that knowledge into action leads to real results. That's why Lifestyle Medicine Maine is offering Plant Based Cooking Classes in Maine. Coming in January 2025, Lifestyle Medicine Maine is hosting Weekly Wednesday cooking meet-ups in Portland, Maine, beginning on January 1st from 5:30 to 6:30pm.

Plant Based Group Cooking Event in Portland Maine

What does that mean? Our medical clinician is pursing certification as a Professional Plant-Based Chef. This means that Lifestyle Medicine Maine Members will get the chance to join in on taking this course alongside our medical clinician, Jessica Krol, FNP, DipACLM. Check out the Plant-Based Pro cooking course to learn more. Here is the course itinerary.

When it comes to eating healthier meals, they need to taste good. Especially if we plan to reach and maintain our goal weight. And some of that means learning how to cook and setting aside time to make this a priority in our lives. That's why our community is going to come together once a week to prioritize cooking and have fun learning the skills together.

Here's what to expect: Each meeting will take place on a Wednesday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in our medical clinician's home. These events will only be made available to active Lifestyle Medicine Maine members and are completely free to active members.
